We are nearing the end of Auckland Pride 2024 month and have a great line up of films on the main screen for our final week of screenings, and some great stand up comedy on our second screen. And we take requests!

A Secret Love (2020, USA) documentary - Pat Henschel and pro baseball player Terry Donahue and their 65-year journey of love and overcoming prejudice.
This Kiss (2007, Aust) drama/romance - played over a boozy afternoon two friends laugh reveal imperfections and finally confront an incident from the their past.
Anne+: The Film (2021, Dutch) drama/romance - Under pressure to finish her novel and move to Montreal for her relationship, a 20-something lesbian in Amsterdam searches for what she wants in life.
Finn's Girl (2007, Canada) drama/romance - Finn deals with teen angst and violent protests when she is left in the care of her deceased partner's abortion clinic and 11 year old daughter.
Itty Bitty Titty Committee (2007, USA) indie film/romance - A young lesbian high school graduate, who still lives with her parents and works as a receptionist in a plastic surgeon's office, embarks on a wild ride when she hooks up with a cadre of ultra-radical feminist lesbians bent on raising hell.
Pride (2014, UK) comedy/drama - Â Based on a true story, it depicts a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners' strike in 1984, at the outset of what would become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign. A rousing and warm-hearted crowd-pleaser, telling the incredible story of the unlikely alliance between a striking Welsh mining community and a group of gay and lesbian activists.
Booksmart (2019, USA) comedy/thriller - Best friends Amy and Molly realise on the eve of their high school graduation, that they should have worked less and played more. Cast aside by their peers for being bookworms and pretentious they decide to let loose and make up for the lost time. It is hilarious without ever making fun of someone for the sake of a joke. It is earnest and sweet, a pure delight.
Bottoms (2023, USA) comedy - Unpopular best friends PJ and Josie start a high school fight club to meet girls and lose their virginity. They soon find themselves in over their heads when the most popular students start beating each other up in the name of self-defense.
