We're going international! Join us and the Wikipeadian in Residence from the Auckland Museum to help document our histories of the K'Rd precinct. We'll be walking the street recording historic queer spaces and then loading our content into Wikimedia Commons.

About the event
Fancy a walk? Join us on a photo walking tour of Karangahape Road to document our queer local histories. The goal is to create an ongoing digital archive of images that will preserve and represent queer histories of Tāmaki Makaurau significant to our communities. And with an active digital archive we will be able to continue adding content into it.
We will be joined by Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland Museum Wikimedian in Residence, Anjuli Selvadurai who will guide us through how to upload images to Wikimedia Commons, and share our community archive.
The walking tour will depart The Charlotte Museum at 11:15.
Please bring a device like a camera or phone to take photographs.
You can come a while or stay all day!
